I'm sorry. I may have upset you.

My son is still not improving even tuition in Mindstretcher since K2, getting worse in his English compo, hope to find better centre. I can't teach as I scored \"C\" for my PSLE.

What you can do is get him to read more story books this holidays. It helps a lot in writing.

Thanks. Everyone says so. But he browses the storybooks most of the time, even ask him to write book review, he won’t do. But his vocabulary quite good when he does MCQ questions. Just compo, really cannot make it. I think I can write better.

No improvement at mind stretcher since K2 and you still want to count on it.. ???My advice is go look for other options. My gal with them for 1 yr before also no progress and in fact worse so quit.. I look at the way they teach and has no faith. I used to ask my gal after every lesson if she had learnt anything and she just shrugged off. She didn't learn the rules on grammar and techniques on answering compre there..

DS did quite well section B science. He lost 12 marks in section A. How does it happen?

The teacher commented that he knows how to do difficult qns but got it wrong for easy ones. Generally, his science is not strong. Mummies, any tips to improve section A?

My ds too. Didnt do well for his CL paper 2 :hi5:

He got all his SA2 results back today. Luckily the rest were ok. Good luck to all waiting for their sa2 results. P4 is really stress because of the streaming into foundation/normal class.

Same for ds. Last term, lost 8 marks in Section A & this term, lost 4 marks. A few of his friends get full marks or only 1 mistake all the time. Wonder how they can be so \"steady\" in MCQ? Any tips is greatly appreciated.

Personally, I feel that Mindstretcher is good for students who are above average and who are already doing rather well in school. MS materials are rather tough and I feel for students who are already struggling in school, they will be lost during MS class and not benefit from the lessons. As it is a classroom setting, the teacher is unable to personally help the child much.
