I agreed with your comment. 248+2 did not get offer of the foreign languages...only Malay and Arab. So believe the top 10% off cut of at 249.midnight2014:
My ds who got 249+2 (hmt bonus) got offered Japanese,French,German and Spanish. So I guess this year the top 10% benchmark drop to 249 cause got a friend with 248 and not offered those languages above.
Congrats, midnight2014! That's a pretty good grade. Well done! -
What is the expected COP for RI this year? 263 can get in easily?

If you have HMT points to offer it is included. If you don't have it is not included.
Sorry back to this issue again.vlim:
COP indicated in the booklet for SAP schools definitely has the HMT bonus points included.
Yes agree.
I think I get your point, pirated. Somehow we have different interpretations.
For eg., if the last 2 pupils accepted by a SAP school is 250 &
Pupil A scored 247 + 3 = 250
Pupil B scored 250 + 0(no HMT) = 250
the COP reflected in the booklet will be 250 and not 247.
That's what I mean by inclusive of hmt.
And i believe that the lowest t-score to be accepted by a SAP sch is not likely to be someone without HMT to offer.

Should be able to. COP for RI may not change much, maybe 258 or 259. -
250+2 chance to go St Nic? Last year was 253ā¦

My son scored 246 & merit for higher Chinese. Any chance to try for ACSI O levels ? COP last year was 249. 3 points below COP:(

250+2 chance to go St Nic? Last year was 253...
I think if the child wants to go sngs badly, worth trying.
Another question:
Child A 250+ 3 = 253
Child B 253 n did not take hcl.
Who has the higher chance to be accepted by sngs? -

The T-score is rounded up for publishing. But MOE has the decimals. So the one has higher (with decimals) will get selected first. -

Hi everyone,
With 263 (excl HMT), should I risk applying to NUS High?
