I see. I was thinking of the old format during my time where the PSLE cert showed everything.

Last time, used to have the T-score printed out, on Psle Cert, besides the grades for individual 4 subjects.

not sure from which year Moe took out the T-score

If i am not wrong, certificate does not show T-score while result slip shows T-score.

        thinking mum:
How likely is it for cop to drop for the schools above 250? seems a lot of speculation it will.

Pertinent Question. Any brave soul dares hazard a guess?!!
There were a number of surprises this year ( anecdotal, don't flame please). There were a number of consistent scorers who did not perform to expectation. The Top class did not perform as well as the penultimate class ( I.e. The no. 2class). The questions this yr appears to be harder than the prior year's ( note the apostrophe). And the type of Q set is different in style fr prior years'. The no of kids in the 250 band in DS school appears to have dropped ( not confirmed , I have only 2012 figure for comparison). 240, 260 band stable.

It's quite a strange outcome. I am really curious too on the COP for the 240-260 schools.

Been away fr the forum for a while. There's a lot to catch up on. So I might be repeating a topic. So Forgive me and point me to the relevant URL.

Why so alarm about it. It's oredi started last year when the MOE tweak the PSLE system and all the good school top class suffer drop in their result across the board. And all of the parent oredi kpkb liao and feel the brunt. If you are patient enuf to go and dig out and read 2013 psle result post then you would understand the whole thing. It's like a 10 points down for those very bright student and 10 points up for those average students. My daughter from the top class felt it and also those students of top class sch from NYGPS too.
Well, you got to accept the facts that this changes benefitted those lower band class of students.
I think I will rest my case here and will see next year psle result to have the same effect.
My advise to all parents whose kids taking 2015 psle, concentrate and brush up the languages as this is the key to get higher aggregate score.

Not necessarily so but an adult is preferred to accompany the child.

Not necessarily so but an adult is preferred to accompany the child.

Some schools have separate briefings for child and parents or appointed reps
