Is the tme-table w.e.f Monday ? DS says there's UG CCAs trials on Monday..


DS has been offered 3 Performing Arts CCAs, but none for Sports. He has music background, but he is more interested in Sports..

Do you prefer your boy to join a CCA he is good at, or join a CCA he is (more) interested in ?

I will say...a CCA that he is interested in....if you are involved in something that you have no interest in for 4 years...I think it is really a sad thing..imagine going through the motion every alternate day....is a killer...

I agree with you.. But most (if not all) schools, these days, tend to 'allocate' students to the CCAs they're good at, and not the ones they're interested in (but not so good at)..

Perhaps, it's really important for our boys to do well in CCAs in Sec Sch..

Didn't know its a long day for the Yr-1s today (again). UG CCAs trials just ended..

The Yr-1s will be dismissed at 1.15pm today.. Finally can have lunch with my boy (on weekday), since term started on 2/1..

What a long & tiring day for the Yr-1 boys yesterday !


7.20am - 1.15pm : Lessons
2pm - 5pm : CCA Showcase
6.30pm - 9pm+ : Parent-Teacher Meeting

In view of the upcoming Chingay practices, rehearsals & performances, the Yr-1 boys' schedule will be busy & hectic till end of Feb..

According to Mr Edwin, CHS is the only Sec Sch involved in Chingay performance this year. Did CHS volunteer for it, or was the school being selected ??
