        I have a little piggy and when I saw the thread title, I ๐Ÿ˜“ ๐Ÿ˜“ ๐Ÿ˜“

But I do agree that laying the foundation early makes life easier towards the end. ๅฏไปฅๅฅฝๅƒๅฅฝ็ก till the end.

On the other hand, different children really need different amount of work as strengths, weaknesses and personalities are different. Besides written work, don't forget oracy, especially for the shy child.

I still think tat practice makes perfect.

Like sports, writing skills, problem solving skills and language skills need constant practice before it can be perfected. Go for the foundation first, once the kid is confident then throw in the difficult ones. It is training the brain to accustom to the questions asked. Sports is not just abt the physical, it is also abt training the brain to repeat the same action over and over again tat one can achieve more perfect skills.

So sweet of you, icy_mama! :hugs: Now that my kids are using the internet more, I am consciously trying to use it less...in front of them. ๐Ÿ˜‚ I am supposed to be here to learn about PSLE stuff but your nick reminds me that the food thread is even better and will make me more popular with my kids! ๐Ÿ˜‚

Agree that practice makes perfect. Just 10-15 min a day on a skill can be very useful at this level.

If ur gal do constant revision from now, it should not be a prob continuing ballet even in p6. Iโ€™ve seen other kids do it, continuing their usual enrichment schedule and even taking part in competitions and performances up till aug of their PSLE year and got gd grades and admitted into top girlsโ€™ school without DSA! I was really impressed! So, start early and consistency is the key!

Then again, when my dd took her PSLE the year before, nutrition played a huge part to make that brain juice flow better. ๐Ÿ˜‰

Could you share with us your Exam Food Recipe?

What kinds of food will make brain think/focus better? Fish, gingko nuts, what else?

What kinds of food must be avoided, so that the child is not groggy or hyper?

This is a serious question! :imanangel:

                      Tks!
