heard rumors that maybe, one of the batches will be hit by changes to Psle.

That is : entry to Secondary schools won’t depend on T-score alone anymore, but depend on other selection criteria, as well : in the same way, as how O level students now entering A level Junior colleges.
      We going to be banded.

Not sure which batch going to be hit -
      born 2006, or 2007 (ours), or 2008 ?

any parent hear from your school Principal say, something like this ?
seems like 2006, 2007 born will be hit.

But I sent her to P3 small group tuition class when she was in P1 (Jan 2014), her tuition teacher expected them to complete the zuowen (作文 4 pictures) with 300 words and a few helping words, she was unable to complete it during her first lesson, she spent about another 1.5 to 2hrs with 200 words at home, I wanted to help her but she rejected my offer, her tuition teacher gave 60% to her, we were happy with her score and attitude. 😄
This year she is in P4 class then? :yikes:

We did not hear anything for our school so I guess 2015 PSLE is not influenced by the new system.

Psle 2015 : is not hit

at the parents meet Principal meeting -
heard that pioneering batch hit might be either kids born 2006, or 2007. I really dread this un-welcome change. But info very vague : something about being banded, just like in O level.
Hence, need further clarification, from parents of other primary schools, if they heard anything similar from their school Principal, regarding this.

So, if started on 2006 or 2007, our 2007 kids will be affected by the new PSLE system. 2019 will be the first or second batch!
