      CatMoon:
      Hi ASLMUM,

I don't think the Parents Symposium slides are up. However the one on CCA was uploaded by Mr Tok on Friday, as well as other slides.

Go to HCI website, click on PORTALS on top right hand side and type in userID and password. UserID is 'P' followed by ur son's BC number.

I think when u are accessing this for the first time, the password is the same (set by administrator). [N.B I'm not sure about this last part as I've changed my password already.]

      Thanks CatMoon

      Hope my mssg is correct.

Hi Sec 1 Parents (and ASLMUM),

You can now download the Parents Symposium slides on the Intelligent School Portal (High School).

After 2 weeks into their new school (dream school for my ds), they begin to settle down. During the next 2 weeks, they will be trying for their preferred CCA. Good luck to all :xedfingers:

Though I must say, they seems to be overwhelmed with homework already... 😓 By the way, I heard people saying RI has a \"2-hour homework policy\". What's that?? Or maybe it's just rumours... :?

As a principle, it basically mean that for each subject, there should be no more than 2 hours worth of homework for the boys. However, the measure of 2 hours is very subjective and is typically stated as a 'politically correct answer' when asked by parents. This is at least from what I have heard and observed. But don't worry, they will cope as they go thru the process.

I think it is not maximum 2 hours worth of homework for each subject but for each day instead.

DS is in Year 2 in RI. So far the homework can be completed within 1 hour each day. :xedfingers: But of course the projects haven't started yet. I guess homework =/= projects?

May I know are we supposed to access the i-Comp besides the portal that we told to log in to access kid’s data and results? The i-Comp comes from a link from this portal.
