You must understand the school doesn't short of smart kids. :siam:

Her school leader is an easy going and not result-oriented man, no parent and principal meeting. Although her school has implemented some good prog in school but the PSLE result was lower than other Sengkang neighborhood school.

Therefore a few of high potential students (good result, smarted kids or GEPs qualifier) had transferred to other result-oriented school each year.

We will let her take more time to learn and practice, if she is still unable to cope, we will cancel all her free time (no computer, no games, can not go to playground)! 我就跟她来硬的。

Anyway, different kids 开窍 at different times. The journey is long and best not to burn the candles at both ends, imho. Having said that, I'm sure your gal would most probably have no prob handling tingxie since you've such high expectations of her.

Internally, NYPS no lack, nor shortage of smart kids.

Externally, Transfer into NYPS not easy -
because long waiting queue of students, as everybody want to enjoy 12 discounted points privileged difference, between affliates vs outsiders.
That is, 250 (for affliates) vs 262 (outsiders).

12 points is such a huge difference !
Not talking about 1 or 2 or 5 points difference, but 12
Those people who appeal with 1 or 2 points just below psle cut off point, already face so much competition & difficulty.
Let alone a big, whopping 12 points difference.

Because it is so difficult to get transfer into NYPS -
the only way to enter, is to clear P3 Gep screening test.
Either enter via this way, or you have the Cca that NYPS want.

This discounted 12 points privilege : only for the girls.
NYPS boys not affliated to Hwa Chong.
So, boys no need to seek transfer into NYPS.
There is no privilege, for boys, to enter Hwa Chong Secondary (IP)

NYGH is the only IP Secondary school, that offer discounted Psle T-score, of more than 10 points difference.

The rest of the Secondary schools that offer discounted T-score, is only for the \"O\" level track

Hi

One to few days for that week only, will resume after the test (regardless to any result of the test, good or bad), it works very well to her.
She has adopted the rule and applying it automatically when she has encounted problems in her studies.
