      Hi Christinamay and Shirotan

If you are looking for very experienced piano teachers, good with young children and have a structured way of teaching, you may wish to consider Mandeville at United Square (since both of you are staying so near United Sq). Mandeville selects their music teachers very carefully and they are good at handling children as young as 2.5 yo. DD is with teacher Lydia and i find her good.

          Dreamaurora:
          micollh:

kids playing piano and learn guzheng at the same time, any issues with their fingers?

Well, I am one year into violin lesson now, and well, my left hand fingers do have more calluses compared to the right hand fingers, but so far I do not detect any loss in sensitivity in the fingers. So, perhaps for Guzheng, should be similar?

          hi micollh,

my girl is learning piano and guzhen... no hear her mention of the fingers issues... but she said guzhen is more enjoyable... hmmmm....
