Hi, does this kindergarten teach hanyu pinying in K1/K2?

Excuse me, haven't you heard that all kindergartens are told not to teach Han Yu Pin Yin to preschool students as dictated by MOE? :?

I did hear that MOE advised kindergartens not to teach han yu pin yin to preschool children. However, I do not think it is a \"dictation\". There could be some private preschools that still teach hypy. I'm just asking around for comparison.
Hi, Mindchamps teach HYPY. However the school fees is different pricing.

As far as I remember LSK does not teach HYPY. But usually parents send the kids to Tien Hsia or Berries for HYPY enrichment.

            Hi,

My gal is in LSK now and I hope to register for my son for PN classes in 2016. I am aware that there will be long queue for students wanting to register in phase 3. How abt phase 1?
Phase 1 should be confirmed vacancies. My niece is in Phase 1 this year.

Can I ask if there is any bus operator travelling between LSK and Fernvale area? Appreciate about the kind advice.

Phase 1 is for those kids with siblings currently studying in the school. The school will give out a letter to inform you to indicate your interest to register. No need to be \"Kiasu\" to queue for Phase 1. Those that queue up are from Phase 3. http://www.lsbc.org.sg/simple-disciples ... istration/

Phase 1 should be alright since it is for children with Siblings in the school. I registered at 9am during day1 of phase 2, all morning slots were taken up during phase 1.

if morning slots all taken by phase 1, then there are phase 2 and 3 ..dont think i stand a chance for phase 3 :scared:

Get your husband to queue up overnight or pay someone to queue for you. Prepare to bring along sleeping bag and camp overnight. Take your child go with you in the morning for Phase 3. That was the past how some parents secure a vacancy for their children. Once the eldest child gets in, the rest of the siblings will get priority for Phase 1 registration in subsequent years.

If you are the type of parents who expects lots of worksheets from the school, this school will be unsuitable for your child. What your child needs is an enrichment centre or tuition centre. This kindergarten focuses on holistic learning and character development through learning the right values. Teachers are great but the price of the kindergarten fees is on the steep side!
