:congrats: to all the Hwachongians who received their A-level results yesterday!

Dr Hon congratulated the seniors and encouraged the juniors! My boy was so motivated - he said there were lots of clapping and rah-rah! :rahrah:

Dr Hon's message on the website -

\"The Class of 2014 has continued Hwa Chong’s tradition of excellence.
They achieved a median University Admission Point (UAP) of 86.63 out of 90. In other words, the average Hwa Chong student has attained 3 distinctions and 1 B for all of their H2 subjects, making them eligible for admission to any top universities locally and overseas.
For the Academic Year 2014, 722 offers were made by prestigious overseas universities including Cambridge, Oxford, Penn, Brown, Dartmouth, Duke and Chicago to Hwa Chong students in 2014.\"

                    Hi,

I was looking for a calendar of events in HCI website but could not find any. Is there such a calendar where all school events and exam dates are stated? If yes, could someone guide me to the right place.

Otherwise, could some experienced parents advise on whether SA1 is in Apr or May? What about SA2? I heard that SA2 is in August? Isn’t that a bit early? Would really appreciate if some parents could clarify. DS is in year1, so I am rather clueless.

                    Thank you.

Hi, you should be able to see the calendar under the \"Intelligent School Portal\" (High School). There is a \"calendar of Events\" at the left panel.

                        Bay,

Generally there is no SA1 in HCI. But they do have CT (common tests) in Apr. They only have EOY (end of year) exams in sep-oct (period). For humanities subject, they will have final exam in May and Oct for the respective subjects. Eg. 1st semester study History and have History final exam in May and 2nd semester study Geography and have Geography final exam in Oct…that was the case last year.
