Seem like many parents unhappy with MS science… will take note! Any good sci tuition can recommend? Other than MS?

I stay in punggol… most likely go punggol plaza MS… hows the teachers there? Maybe their science is good? Am considering for my P5 boy…

For my younger boy…
writer toolbox and eng course not bad??? can see from my typing… my eng not good!

Try Just Edcation Science.

If a current school teacher sends the child to JE for Science, I believe JE Science must have standard.

Another friend's son in P6 last year changed from MS to JE for Science and he loved it.

But there is another group who will still like MS Science.

Personally, I find MS worksheets are not well photocopied. Horrible photocopying .....

personally i think that Just Education doesn’t lose at all in any aspects to MS… somemore the fees are more reasonable… I just don’t really understand why MS enrolment is so much stronger… is it most parents think more ex = better without actually thinking of "value received"??

I think it is because MS is everywhere. the awareness is higher. The locations are very accessible.

Whereas, Just education has fewer branches and in more remote locations. They also do less advertising.

to add on, not much parents discussion in Just Education -Discussion thread too.


DD is doing Science at MS since last year. MS notes content by far is good and comprehensive. DD science teacher is a retired teacher, very responsible, approachable and can explain the concepts across to the class well. DD science marks improved from high band 3 from P3 to high band 2 in P4. Now she is in P5.

I also enrolled her for English in Feb15 with MS achiever class. Realised the standard is beyond my DD, the whole class failed the mock test except for one student who scored the highest at 50 mark. Stopped attending since and swopped her over to Just Ed. Standard more reasonable. Just attended her 2nd lesson with Just Ed, DD is happier and more confident.

This discussion came just at the right time. DS (p5) passed marginally for this CA1( 1/3 of the class failed the paper) and I am thinking of enrolling him in a science tuition. I looked through his paper and realised his weakest link is in section B ( failed this section). His concept seems to be there but his way of phrasing the answer is not right, hence lost marks.

How does MS compare to Just education in terms of teaching section B?

How do they (just education) teach for section A?
Can you share? Thanks in advance

Hi just sharing my experience. My son has been with MS Pasir Ris P1 Creative Toolkit for 2 months and am impressed with his compo writing (from few lines to full page, from simple words to big words with proper sentence structure). The teacher also teaches him all the fundamentals of English (vocab, grammar, punctation, etc.) which is gd. He uses his own creativity to structure the compo with helping words (tested as spelling) from teacher. He used to dislike writing long paragraphs but enjoyed it now since going for the class. Am very happy with MS and signing up for Math (will feedback 2 mth later) as well.

Yes I saw Just Education… price better but brand not as strong as MS

Didnt know their sci good… Will go down again soon
