to some people, Fengshui is important
Aiyo....I hope you have not riled up a WW3 on land and then quickly siam to the seas hor..... :rotflmao:pirated:
Alamak, worse if discuss about the interim site
By association to location - any time Mt Sinai is top lah!
Many of the top JCs today had one time or another lived and stayed at Mt Sinai where they received enlightenment via the two tablets and wherever they went subsequently they have done well.
ITE Bishan ? Have you heard ITE stands for Its The End ??!! Why want that location ? No good lah. Only the saints can make good the place because they are the saints.
Lesser mortal must stick with established norms of property : location location location = mt sinai
By the same token people has been clamoring for conservation of 38 Oxley Road
Whether a location is attractive or not, it is quite subjective because everyone has different needs. Personally, I like Mt Sinai but I do not reject Bishan ITE if it is nearer to me as a holding site. -

Well csm is also an old boy of chs... Nothing wrong with inviting him...OK so much digression to RJC which has nothing to do with this new JC.
So back to Le Petition. Can all brothers of Cat High and (sisters of SNG and SCG if nearby) wear your 7 buttons uniform and march into Teck Ghee MPS office tonight and chorus the Cat High school song until PM arrives to meet people (or will he not be on duty tonight?). This is called DRAMATIC EMOTIONAL BLACKMAIL...
Don't help juniors, no more GOH for 80th anniversary dinner..will invite CSM instead...muahahaa...Just kidding!!! :clubmyself:

In December 2006, to meet the needs of the Integrated programme, Dunman High moved to RJC (Mount Sinai), to allow for upgrading of the current site at Tanjong Rhu.

now, the same apply to un-named JC, to allow construction at the piece of land reserved. -

Yes, it is a distance from the present Tanjong Rhu to Mt Sinai holding site...

BUT heard that the school did make special transport arrangement ....
To transport pupils fr the present location to the holding site in the morning...for those who had problems getting there...(Any ex- dunmanians of the affected batch can double confirm this ?? as my gal isnt the affected batch)
Moreover, their morning flag raising time had been pushed later to commence at 8 a.m due to the longer road journey...
This practice has Not been changed even after DHS moved back to Tanjong Rhu...
Affected parents fr CHS, St Nicks n SCGS...
Suggest to discuss with the respective schs if the schs could step in to help to ease some of the transport issues should the decision of the holding site be final...
