sinoboy:
It matters as to correctness of the information you posted in this thread about the dialogue.Jennifer:
Did you attend the dialogue personally?
While I don't see how going to the dialogue session or not is related to this, and this is just a minor issue for a very small minority, I get the message and I'll shut up. :skeptical:
I wont ask the question : How MANY in numbers anymore, since you wont have the information at all.
Btw, you are free to share your thoughts and feelings about issues. There is no hidden message in my posts to tell you to shut up.
If I want to tell somebody to shut up, I will do it in his face. Wont be hidden. -

I really hope that the unaffected parents can put themselves in other people shoes.
From what I heard, one of the principals of the 3 affected sec schools actually declared that the new JC ranking would surpass the top JC during the first Open House when IP was introduced in the school. This had attracted some parents to forgo the top JC and chose this school.
With this turn of events, some affected parents now wish to transfer their kids to the top JC they initially qualified. I believe this is not acceptable to some unaffected parents who view these affected parents as victims of their own greed.
It may only apply to a very small group but we can't deny it exists. Hence not everyone can empathize with the affected parents. -

Which P declared that ? this is considered as misrepresentation ! If you buy financial products based on misrepresentation, you can seek for recourse, compensation and report to case and probably MAS! -

Try asking the parents who attended the first Open House for IP to verify then.
I am sure the other principal(s) did mention they will place this new JC in top 3 ranking. Try tracing the KSP forums of the affected schools.
Parents of the current top 3 JCs will not be able to empathize with these affected parents too. -

You mean surpass RI? No offence but I find it difficult to believe. -

What I have heard from one of the principals 3 years ago was that this new JC would be rank top 3, not surpass the top JC. -

which Principal (of the 3 schools) would dare to use the word, \"surpass\" the Top Junior College : when the first pioneering batch of students have yet to produce the \"A\" level results ?

perhaps this piece of info had been mis-understood, or been heard wrongly -

Top 3? May I know after how many years of establishment? -

I thought it sounded really confident, if not arrogant, on the part of that principal too.

This is what I heard from someone who went to (DSA) Open House: \"We will make sure that this new joint JC will surpass Raffles\". Not these exact words but something to this effect.
That's why I can remember it until now.
Unless it was misinterpreted.
