We even dont know if the burgers treated to us on Mac are the ones they prepared now or were they prepared 3 days or 3 months ago :!:

Okay, to be fair to Macs, no, it is fresh burgers that they give us. My aunt is a Macs auntie and she used to complain about wastage when she first joined Macs, but now, a decade later, she's immuned to the wastage.

Actually when I first read the post, several things came to mind:

              1. That Denver's climate must be rather cold and dry most of the year, so food do not decompose easily.
              2. MacDonald's burgers and especially fries are salty, which would have contributed to the \"preserving\" qualities, as salt has been used to preserve food traditionally.
              3. The fries might have been made from some GM potatoes that can resist decomposition.

              25hourmaid:
Friend bought a burger frm Macs (not sure what burger) and some fries. Was meant as supper later. Accidentally left the burger and fries in the car boot after they went shopping (don't ask me how it happened).

Was quite late when they reached home. Took out the groceries from the car boot, but forgot all about the burger and the fries.

Three days later, opened the boot and found the burger and fries looking and smelling perfectly fine, like as if he had just walked out of Macs! Said he would have eaten them if he had not known that they had been there for three days!
But this is really  . Some more in hot humid Singapore and in car boot!

Anyway, I don't really like MacDonald's fries and beef patties. Don't know why but makes me want to . If I order fries, it'll usually be without salt, and we usually eat their fish burger instead of hamburgers. I used to love their ice-lemon tea, when it was still brewed with lipton tea bags and not so sweet. Now I don't know what formulation they use, doesn't taste as nice anymore. šŸ˜›

I have read about McJunkie food before, just search youtube.com and you will find many video about the junk food (expensive somemore!).

Out to prove to my son who love their fries, I bought a box and left them in the kitchen.

four weeks or so later, the fries hardened, and it was true, the fries did no decompose at all, in high humidity climate of Singapore!

Sigh, my son acknowledged that the result was bad, but continue to take junk food... only agree to cut to once per month...

HELP!!!!! Mc has been hypnotizing young mind to eat junks! :stupid: javascript:emoticon(':stupid:')
