I am still finding to out the difference between blue label and burberry sold in dept stalls.

We saw blue label at major dept store. Gosh I can't remember the name but there is some popular Japanese dept stall near Shinjuku area. Something starts with pacific....?
My impression is blue label is around S$300+ meanwhile for the burberry brand in the dept store (not boutique), it is going at S$500+.... What are the differences.
The difference between Burberry and Blue Label is the target audience. For Burberry, it targets at women who are 25 years and above, whereas the Blue Label line is targetted at the youths or younger women, or those aged 25 years and below.
The luxury market has identified that more youths are into luxury brands, but because the main line is a tad expensive and also the designs are for the \"older\" market, these companies have come up with another line and designs that are targetted at the younger target audience - and I guess that's why the prices are lower too.
Some examples are Coach and the Coach Poppy series, the Emporio Armani and Armani Exchange, and even Victoria's Secret and VS Pink.

Personally, as the long as the designs are nice and it appeals to us, doesn't matter if it is for the youths or adults - as long as we look good with or in it :celebrate: -

Inside ah... don't have padding one lah, at least not in mine. I think the shoes, once dry, is still ok. But that doesn't mean you should go soak your shoes in a flood of water. :lol:

Just checked my shoe closet - still got my pouffy Miu Mius intact :), and they're at least 5yo. -

I think in the case of Japan, I personally found it quite confusing. Eg. besides blue label, there are 2 types of burberry. In the dept store and in the boutique. The Burberry Blue Label is sold in Japan as this is part of their marketing strategy. Japanese youths and teens are a growing affluent market for luxury brands to capture, hence Burberry decides to focus on the Jap teens and youth market. The brand will probably expand into the region once there is a market for this line.
It's not the colour. The blue label is made for the Japanese market only (maybe made in Japan? :scratchhead: ) Heard that the design is different from the normal Burberry, more casual-looking. I have never seen them before, not so sure myself.
I believe Burberry has signed on Emma Watson (Hermoine Granger of Harry Potter fame) to be spokesperson as the brand wanted to target the younger audience. Guess, they want to rejuvenate the brand to be more youthful and trendy. :lol: -

Only thing is, the reverso is also rectangular in face, same as my other mechanical which is a glashutte. Also, JLC is nicer with a leather belt, not sure if it is harder to maintain.
Apart from JLC, any other recommendations?

Blue Label Burberry however has one difference, London Burberry sold the rights to Japan to only market this in Japan, so Blue Label is not outside Japan. The other thing I observe is the traditional beige, black, maroon checks print is minimised in the Blue Label Burberry range. -

I wear 3 inches heel daily, mostly wedged ones.
I have a pair of flats that i wear while driving. -
My black patent Ferragamo survived a few hours in a flood and 'lived' around for a while.
Just keep drying it with paper towel or cloth. Low heat dryer briefly if you must and let dry in aircon -

It's not high class lah. I don't buy Prada or Gucci shoes as these are the more fashionable ones in my opinion. Ferragamo is comfortable and does not give me blisters. I don't wear heels. For casual, the more flat the better. For work, 1 to 1.5 inch is ideal for me.Why you all so high class one?
