I looked at all you all were saying and just can't help but say that you guys are thinking too highly of yourselves, and you get disappointed when the PSLE results are released

How do you know? Maybe they truly have potential and just curious to know their PSLE scores.

      You shouldn't be so pessimistic.

Not pessimistic but realistic… it seems to me that many think they will do very well…

I really wonder how the kids calculated their scores.
it's good to be confident but not over confident.
this is a national exam sat by all the students island-wide.

I have seen students with shocking results. Assumed did very well..end up only average.. bell curve..

Never be over confident.. hope for the best but prepared for the worse.

Yes, some students expecting to get 25X or 26X, but in the end got 23X / 24X
they were expecting to go IP school, in the end went neighbourhood school, with 23X

It is very common in fact. Just hope for the best but stomach the worse. Never assume until we see black n white.
Otherwise why ppl wanna DSA.. aiyo.. noone likes the waiting game..

A few volunteer welfare organizations might need volunteers. do consider going to help to pass your time. Eg willing hearts need volunteers daily to prepare and pack food for the needy.

Based on the tscore formula,an average student in all subjects tscore 200 (50+50+50+50).

So, if one scored more than 200 means he/ she is above average. 😄
But a 20X score can't go to a so called \"good\" school. :slapshead:

P6 students, after psle, instead of glued to computer, glued to iPad play computer games, is good to go and help

                        Don't talk about 20X

23X : already dangling in mid air, neither here nor there, bu Shan bu xia, cannot go up, cannot come down, can't go IP school (need minimum 250, 251, lowest Cut off point entry like TJC or SCGS), can't go good Sec school, if not affliated

If affliated, 200 can enter CHIJ Toa Payoh Sec

If affliated, 220 can enter SCGS Sec

If affliated, 230 can enter St Nicholas Sec
