Starting from Primary 3, pupils will be streamed according to their results only for two classes. For the top 40 +/- in the level, these pupils will be allocated to Humility. For next top 40 in the level, they will be allocated into Compassion. Those pupils who show outastanding potential in sports will be allocated into Gratitude alongside with mixed-ability pupils. The rest of the classes are put into randomly, however, the school tries their best to keep everyone in the same class until p6. I myself has been in Humility from p3 all the way to p6 prior to graduating this year. Hope this helpedHi Parents
Can anyone share with me if our girls are assigned to their classes in primary 3 according to their primary 2 results?
Will students be allocated to their classes based on their academic results?

:thankyou:

Hi, what you mentioned about the allocation to Humility class for the top 40 girls based on overall subjects aggregate score and to Compassion class for the next top 40 (41 -80) is true for pupils P3 to P6.

However, pupils that show outstanding potential in sports need not necessarily be put into Gratitude class. Some of those performing well in sports that are not in Humility or Compassion classes are placed randomly in the other 4 mixed ability classes. I heard through the grapevine that 3 Gratitude 2016 class could be a class for pupils who are very weak in Chinese. -
Hello
My daughter say she will be in P3 Perserverance in 2016. So is that a mixed ability class. Thanks. -
Iβm looking for carpool (pte transport).
We live at 11 Sin Ming Road which is abt 2km from current Braddell site. Bus pick up is 620am as driver intends to reach sch by 645am.
Sch bus quoted $120-140 due to different drop off in the afternoon.
Pls PM me if u r interested. Iβm fine with one or two way pick up.
Thks, Ping -
Have parents bought their school shoes? Any good recommendation?
Btw, what do we need to pack their school bag with on the first day of school? -
Hi sembgal
I dont think 3G is for those kids who are weak in chinese. My gal has been assigned to 3G and thats her strongest subject and sheβs also active in CCA. May be a mixed ability class too. -

Hi, the 4 mixed ability classes starting from Pri 3 to Pri 6 are perseverance , gratitude, zeal and integrity.Hi sembgal

P1 and P2 girls are randomly arranged into the 8 respective classes and not according to their abilities.
Chinese classes will be redistributed according to the girls Chinese ability. Since the girls were in P1, they have been grouped accordingly to their Chinese classes when they have to take Chinese lessons. I recalled P2 there is a Chinese class for pupils very strong in Chinese and a Chinese class for pupils who are weak. The rest of Chinese classes are mixed ability. During Chinese lessons, some girls have to go different classrooms. Next year may have to see how the Chinese teachers group the girls for their Chinese classes again. -
Dear Parents and Alumnae of Marymount,
My daughter is starting P1 in 2016. I have some questions which I hope you can help answer:-
(1) On the first day of school, is she supposed to wear her PE uniform? Or her pinafore?
(2) Does she need to bring all of the compulsory books, workbooks, other materials, etc. on the first day of school? Or only selected ones? How do we know which books she needs to bring.
Thank you.
