Hi xjysg, I assume you are driving from upper Bukit Timah. So far, traffic is ok. Its better to drop off in school as walking from opp is quite a distance.

My son said he’ll probably continue taking the bus from Botanic Gardens cos the walk is too far (although he’s going to boarding next sem).


I usually drop him off either along the drive way (go in via gate 3) or near the international school side (go in via gate 4). Both gates are open in the morning and I find it is less crowded before 655 am. Entering school is not a problem but there can be a long wait at the NYGH UTurn.

If you want to U Turn and head back to the city, you have to use gate 3 so you can exit from gate 2. Gate 4 exits at gate 5, which will take you to namly avenue. You can’t do the UTurn at NYGH , will have to go further up (nearer sixth Ave) to turn back.

Hi, I just saw the revised orientation programme. It shows that the starting time is 8.30am for all five days. So we can safely assume that the kids report to school by 8.30am latest? Thanks!

But is there a place online where I can find out the locations of the various gates? From the above, I surmise that Gate 3 is the one nearest to the International school. Where can I find out the locations of gates 2,3 and 5? Thanks!
