When you say aloud this name Eunonia : do you feel associated or related to St Nick or Catholic High strong missionary heritage background ?

Given both SNG and CH are SAP schs except for SCGS, wouldn't it be simple to name as ''SAP JC\" instead. -

Seriously, why choose a Greek name for a government institution?? We were still joking about some posh French names for the JC months ago. The leaders might have taken a leaf from those suggestions. :faint:
The more obscure the name/language, the more atas it is mah :rofl:
Now that French speakers so ไฟ, maybe MOE thought Greek will raise the atas quotient. -

The Greek name Eunoia has no link or significance to the 3 feeder schools. So what if Eunoia means "beautiful mind" (ๆณๅพ็พ ๅไธญ๏ผ? Anyone who has been a parent before would know that if oneโs surname is ่ก, do not name his baby ่ๆถ, else the child will be teased for the rest of her life.
Previously, many forummers suggested many other nice names like "College By the Park" etc, I think more atas and more relevant to the local context. -
