Principal said only consider in-house student care centre (SCC) next year (2017), not this year (2016)
.
Will be in-house, not external vendor involved
Very small intake : maximum 50 students, in SCC -
Go to school:
for P3 : bring on Monday (4 Jan 2016)My girl is P3 next year.
Since all girls in new classes, what to bring for the first day- Next Monday?
English storybook, for silent reading during assembly
Maths / Chinese textbook, activity book
P3 Form Tr will give out class timetable on Monday
From timetable, you know which day conduct Science lessons, etc -

during the P1 orientation 2 days back, the P said that mobile phones are allowed, subject to the following
1. Need to register phone with the office
2. Only used for communication with parent/caregiver
3. Only used in the canteen
You can refer more to the 2016 P1 orientation slides -

mmm... samsung77.. where does the rumour came from (school staff ??)?? i know of a couple of mommies who too are hoping, there'll be such centre set up within the campus. since the single-session school hours begins as early as before (i.e 2-sessions), working parents aren't able to match their work hours to the dropping & picking of their gals.
..................
I also heard rumors that school is going to start a Student Care centre. Is this true?
Any priorities set for application?
Please pity those working parents without domestic helpers or parents or in laws in helping to take care of the kids after school.
.............
hopefully this will materialize soon :xedfingers: :xedfingers:
2016 Proposed Plan

Same info...the admin office staff said they are allowed to bring the mobile, an inexpensive model. They must bring the phone to the admin office, fill up a form and get a sticker and they can only use it after school. -
Thanks beach line for the info, just want my girl to be able to contact us or us to contact her.
Might get her a dumb dumb phone then.
