The relevance? Simply becuz I believe a man of his stature, position and prominence wld not make such statements lightly to the press and must have consulted and verified with doctors/experts as well as careful consideration on the impact on our social fabric.

Hi Kiasimom, I have actually had two experiences with these types of people, in p5, and in p6, but I still do not think that we should discriminate people due to the fact that they like people of the same gender. You should just decide on whether you are comfortable with them being your friends or not, and explain to them. Just my 2 cents worth.
Exactly. I feel we should not discriminate them. It is their personal choice.

Seriously, I wld think tat he is famous becuz many people recognized tat he really has great vocals and are moved by his rendition of songs esp. mad world. In fact, if more people were willing to shed their prejuduices and appreciate his vocals alone and not wat he represent, I think he wld have won more votes and fans. I think he just wan to be truthful to himself and it's not fair to demand him to deny or hide his obvious talent becuz of his sexual orientation......Muffins:

It's not your fault Muffin, you are at the receiving end of such information, you just need to apply discretion. Young people today find all ways to stay in the limelight, look at the boomz girl, a good example and all the nude photos kids are willing to put on Internet shamelessly, plus all the willing tender grasses. Same for homosexuality. If you mix with the wrong company, it may become something cool eventually if you don't insist in your mind that it is truly unnatural, not to mention illegal. -

I have no idea how well known he is because I am not into his songs but I do agree that if he has good vocals, just focus on his talent. However because he is a celebrity he will have fans who idolize him and if without discernment, he can have influence on the young fans. He has to manage that responsibly and if he can, I can respect him for his singing talent still.
