      HI

Would like to check anybody has successfully appeal to BPGH before?
Would like to know how the procedures like?
      Thank you.

My dd's friend scored 245 and successfully appealed into bpghs (cop:246 in year 2013). I heard that they'll be interviewed by the vice-principal.

      :thankyou:

                  Hi,

Can anyone with knowledge of how the classes are formed in BPGHS comment? I would like to know if students who are admitted via DSA form their own classes or are the DSA students mixed with students who are admitted via S-1 posting.

                  Thank you.

Open house is on 16 Nov 2019. I have a child currently attending BPGHS, regretted sending, school has limited communications with parents, just 1 newsletter to parents for the whole year, no info regarding o level result, everything is hush hush. School only conducts end of year exam with assessments throughout the year. These assessments can be tests or project works and usually the students will not fare badly. Hence, the teachers are not able to identify the weaker students using this method of assessment. You will receive the bomb at the end of year when they have to take the full exam papers and then realised the child is so unprepared. Teachers are not as passionate or committed. They do not conduct remedial lessons and expect students to approach them for consultation. Sec school students are not that matured as JC/tertiary students, they are tired after school, who care about consultation unless the child is self motivated. And most teachers do not give out their contact numbers and your email to them may not received any replies. Heard from my child that many of the history teachers are leaving so next year sec 3 will not get to choose pure history. Then there is a Chinese teacher who goes on MC frequently. She can even tell the students she has no mood to teach. So can the students tell her no mood to study? What a joke! Of course, there are some great and committed teachers in the school. My child’s chinese teacher in her lower sec class is good, when she sensed that my child is not focusing and her grade is slipping, she contacted me immediately to find out the reasons and see how she can help. But this kind of teacher is the minority in the school!
