Really disgusted to hear about the case of the boy who now suffers from permanent disabilities.

We hv a case of a boy still lying in hospital
who is reporting likely to end up with permanent disability
after getting whacked by several ACS boys in a
school's rugby game;
He has been there for some time.
It was reported that till now, neither ACS nor those
boys involved have yet to pay the patient a single visit
despite the seriousness of his condition.

We also hv a case of an ACS boy kena whacked by
an SA boy after taunting him in a game.
This was front page news in the ST;
a police report was made.

Which case is more serious?
The disparity in how the two cases is handled is glaring
n ACS's silence/inaction in the first few days is deafening
n remains so in the former case.

Don't u all think ACS should at least show
some compassion for the boy lying in the hospital too?

Ask the journalist.

DR Ong is the Principal of ACS(I) and not ACS(Barker) which is involved in the earlier case that involves Adhe Noviello.

Yes I know. However, they are all part of ACS fraternity.

I remember coming across some writing in this forum, that ACS is strong in Character Building.... so is it ACS (I) or ACS Barker...

Personally, I encountered some ACS boys, as colleagues, they were proud...

I wasn't following the news on ACS. I didn't think much about it until I read the news on the Bedok Sec school boy. Then I start to associate with the recent brawl. As mentioned earlier, I was utterly disgusted.


Was the news on the boy who will end up with permanent disability downplayed initially as compared to the latest news ????

So is the ACS who got beaten up in recent brawl going blind :? Or just have a black eye for a period of time? :scratchhead:

Personally, I encountered some ACS boys, as colleagues, they were proud...[/quote]Maybe we encountered different groups of ACS boys then. Those whom I know personally (and I know quite a number) are all really nice and humble people, despite their wealth.

My son is in ACS..and in my encounters with his classmates and their parents, I've yet to meet anyone arrogant. My son has been to their homes for projects and they strike me as very hospitable and polite people.

My son is in ACS..and in my encounters with his classmates and their parents, I've yet to meet anyone arrogant. My son has been to their homes for projects and they strike me as very hospitable and polite people.

I am sure there are, especially those we know as personal friends, their kids would appear ok. So far my poor experiences are with those we meet at enrichment centres.

:lol: I've not gotten stoned yet since this am. So don't worry. KSP are sensible lots and everyone of us is entitled to our own thoughts especially as a parent. To be fair, I am sure there are good ACS kids around too.

I just feel very sorry for the boy who end up with permanent disabilities.

BTW.... are we talking the same group of ACS rudgy boys????
