Does anyone know how the school is going to address the dirty toilet issue? My girl complained that there are pimple like lumps on her bottom which we suspected that it is caused by the toilet bowls at school. She said it is painful.
Last week during Parent meeting session, went to inspect their toilets. My God, it is even worst than those in Hawker Centre. Did not have a chance to feedback over this issue as teachers were just busy flashing powerpoint slides.
I am more concern if this become a long term issues, girls will end up developing UTI, which can be no joke matter!
Perhaps parents who attended the PTC could email the Principal about this. A 'flood' of emails on the same issue may just 'wake' the Principal up.

Yes. We will be sending an email to Mr lim and cc the form teachers on our end. Maybe other parents can do the same if your child had also feedback on the dirty toilet issue.

Wow. This is a serious issue. I wonder if the teachers ever go in to inspect the hygiene standards.

Question - Teachers themselves didnt realise that or they dont go toilet? or Staff toilets dont have such problem? Not trying to dwell too much on it, but this is basic hygenic issues, and for a school like RGPS to happen, a bit not acceptable.
I wonder how long they take to familiarise with the 'new' school environment; which is often brought up as an excuse.

I think staff toilet don't have such issue. Teachers don't use students' toilets...I think.

Anyone able to recommend or is willing to help fetch my girl from school back home to kallang? Find the current school bus timing horrendous as she comes back at 3pm!. Advise and suggestions most welcome too.

You really want some suggestions?
You sabo your own kid leh, no school near Kallang?

1. Change school if distance is really bothering you as you had taken up a chance from some girl who lives close to school but did not manage to enter
Your girl suffer because she needs to wake up early to board school bus, and come back home late from school bus

or

2. Car pool with parents that are full time home makers and stays near your area to help

3. Engage Uber driver (those that you familar with) to fetch your girl from school.

4. Send your girl to some nearby student care centre, with her meals taken care off, while you make your way to fetch her after work

5. GIVE UP work and be full time home maker, so you can send and fetch your girl!

Wow so honest opinions ๐Ÿ˜›

Anyway it's kind of true, if u stay far away you must have anticipated the long journey to and fro. I think one easy way to mitigate this is to get ur DD to use the bus time as nap time? My p1 reaches home via school bus at 235-245 every day (not very far off from yours). But she naps in the bus so when she gets home she's as fresh as new! So I kinda appreciate the bus time actually because otherwise it's so hard to get her to nap once she's home!!
Of course sometimes it's not easy to nap as they become buddies with their bus mates they tend to chat etc on journey home, but no harm training her for that power bus nap!
