Best way: marry an alumni. Although your current spouse may have a different opinion on that.i am thinking of nanyang pri

Next best option: buy a house within 1km and volunteer, either with the school or with the grassroots (may be late for grassroots though). -

boys in Nanyang primary : no affliation to enter Hwa Chong Secondary 6 years IP program.
if you want affliation for your son : wiser to consider Catholic High Junior or Maris Stella primary, instead -

Landed house start from $4~5m
Condo starts from $1+m
HDB starts from $0.5m
PV - min 80 hours
Alumni spouse ..... errrr
Or marry a staff -
thanks for the kind advice…
condo = must sell current hdb…
hdb = super possible but then it would be a new hdb vs a 40yr old
landed = skip
i don’t need affiliation for secondary school la… if my son’s PSLE cannot make it, then its too bad for him. -
skii:
No new HDB in the vicinity (and even if HDB launch one tomorrow, it won't be in time for your registration). The resale HDB and condo are your only options.thanks for the kind advice....

Pragmatically, consider another school and forget about Nanyang. -

For serious stuff like P1 registration, I prefer to stay rooted in reality.
In truth, the window of opportunity to PV is closing on you. Besides in getting a place within 1km to aid your chance (I would assume that the probablity of being accepted as a PV if you don't live within 1km as very low), you may want to note the following from NYPS:
\"For Singaporean and Singapore PR children born in the year 2012, the closing date for registration will be 31st July 2016.\" -

Seems like not many schools near NYPS area as your choice for 2CS if you choose to move within 1km to NYPS, so think carefully.
