Welcome. KSP is a great place to learn about lots of stuff. You'll probably be able to find relevant posts relating to your enquir(ies) already, or just create a new post with your question. Or send private messages (PM) to individuals. I'm sure all of us will be willing to help with the adjustment.I'm a Thai newbie in Bangkok with a 2001 boy and want to learn more about secondary schools, school life, scholarships, educational system, teenage lifestyles, cost of living, etc.
Thanks

Hi PoohBearPlusHelloKitty,hi ngl2010,

Hmmmm... I remember there is a thread on Mind Stretcher in this KSP forum. You can check it out. I think quite a lot of feedback is not so positive but please check it out as I may remember wrongly.
Kent Ridge Tutor thread is less active.
We only have 3 months left. Not much time. In my opinion, 1-to-1 tuition will help faster than tuition centre as the tutor can focus on your daughter. The challenge is to find a good tutor
Sometimes, there are tutors/tuition centres pretending to be parents in this forum and recommend his/her tutor/centre. So, please be careful.
Also, a tutor that is suitable for a child may not be suitable for your daughter.
Btw, in this forum, there are threads you can ask on PSLE Maths, Science and English questions. I found them very useful. The people there are very helpful  -
:thankyou: for your help :goodpost: -
I enrolled my daughter for the trial Science Tuition during the June holiday from 7 June 2013 and 28 June 2013 on every Friday 7.30pm to 9pm at nearby Kent Ridge Tutor White Sands Branch. After attending the first two lessons, my daughter feedback that the students were shouting in the class even the teacher Thomas Ong was unable to control the class properly and this boy indirectly disturbing other students in concentrating the lesson.
Kent Ridge Tutor at white sands branch has rude, abrasive and unprofessional customer service Doris because she was more concerned in collecting $$$. I didn't continue my daughter and was put off by her service.
In fact, I had decided to let my daughter continue her lesson at White Sands Branch till her PSLE. However, such rude, abrasive and unprofessional customer service Doris at krtc white sands branch has tarnished the krtc’s reputation, we need an explanation from Alvin Lim, the General Manager of krtc to address the issue promptly, unfortunately, until now, there were no reply from him. -
