Same here. I’ve not been receiving email notifications since last week.

Same here too. Suddenly stopped receiving email notifications from all the threads I’ve subscribed to (and there are a lot!). At first I thought why this particular 2016 thread was so quiet during the busy registration period. I think it was the 2nd or 3rd day of phase 2C suddenly became quiet. Then when I checked KSP main website, I saw this thread actually so active & I was missing out all the updates yikes. Now when I want to kaypoh I have to check main website, still no alerts.

Dear fellow parents,
After Phase 2C , I’m left with two schools which is within 1km. One of them is Oasis Primary School. Learnt from Chief that this is one of the school with highest chance of balloting. However, if I were to go for Waterway or Punggol Cove, they are within 2km, which means I do not have priority too. Can someone pls advise me which will most likely be a better choice? Really appreciate it. Thanks in advance. -

This year Oasis vacancies for 2CS dropped by close to 60 despite having increased over slots by 30. Left 31
But at the same time Greendale vacancies increased by around the same number (about 59). Left 88
Edge field has 21 vacancies (2015 fully subscribed by 2C)
Punggol cove left 120
Waterway left 130
Rough number for those who were unsuccessful in the balloting in 2C this year is 190-195
Last year unsuccessful number is around 200-205
Last year total applicants for oasis plus greendale about 102
From the above numbers, the likely higher risk for balloting will be oasis plus edgefield then followed by greendale, but the last year number suggest that there could be around 100-110 applicants in total for these 3 schools, so perhaps one of the 3 should be available for you.
At the same time punggol cove and waterway TUR at 2C about doubled the numbers when compared with last year numbers. Although it's further, it seems to be safe to apply.
From now till the start of 2CS, perhaps it's good to find out more about the schools and see which one appeal to you more (research, visit school, talk to staff and parents).
Based on risk, Oasis-Edgefield-Greendale should be grouped together (provided all 3 within 1km of you) group 1 and Punggol Cove and Waterway in another group, group 2. Then rank them in according to your preference.
If all the schools in group 1 are ranked higher than group 2, then you can monitor the numbers for these 3 schools on 12 August to see which one is safe to apply without balloting. If all 3 schools need balloting and you want to avoid balloting, proceed with your choice of group 2.
If any group 2 schools is higher any of the group 1, eg you rank oasis #1 then followed by Punggol Cove, you only need to monitor Oasis numbers in group 1 and if within 1km need balloting and you want to avoid balloting, proceed to Punggol Cove.
No matter what you do in this phase, it's better to get to a school that you choose rather than been assign to you by MOE.
Hope the above is not too technical for you. Hope it helps and wish you get the choice you want.

Side note to Chief or balloting history folks, may you reconfirm the eventual TUR for Oasis, Punggol Cove and Waterway at the end of 2Cs in 2015. The TUR shown at 2Cs is same as the 2C at the moment, thanks. -

I have received my daughter from NCPS. Balloting yesterday for phrase 2c.
Hi... You have received the letter via post? My son got in as well. -
We need to apply for 2Cs as being ballot out from CF. Now we are also no clue which schools shall we go for.
Were thinking of YPS but their seat only 37 left. It may not be a good choice for us because it will risk for balloting again in phase 2Cs. We afraid we will be opt out again and go to Phase 3.
Currently my area only near to CF, YPS, Xishan & Northview ( <1km ), AIP is within 2km. Northview already full.
Anyone has any idea about Xishan? Really depressed and looking for some advice. -

Even if you get balloted out in 2CS, you will still get it settled before Phase 3 starts. No worry about that.We need to apply for 2Cs as being ballot out from CF. Now we are also no clue which schools shall we go for.

Hi Radiant,
What does it mean? If ballot out from 2Cs, we will still able to apply to other schools before Phase 3 start? I thought we must wait for the registration date open. -
From MOE website :
Should any Singaporean child be unsuccessful during Phase 2C Supplementary, the parents can seek MOE’s assistance to facilitate admission for the child to a primary school with remaining vacancies. This will be done before Phase 3 registration begins.
