      ashpikamon:
      Hi there,

My dd is currently in Yr 2 IP program. She will have to do subjects combination for Yr3 and 4.
2 Sciences + 2 Humanities are the recommended. But she suppose to go straight to VJC and VJC only offer Science and Art faculty. Unlike Science, there isn't any per-requisites for art faculty as briefed.

Can I therefore assume that if she is able to manage all her Chemistry, Bio and Physics, it will be good for her to choose triple sciences so that she can decide later which two to take in VJC? Or is it better to go for the recommended 2 Sci + 2 Hum?

Also is it true that nowadays JCs do not offer triple science anymore?

Thanks in advance for any advice and comments given!
Vjc only offered 2 sciences. Not 3.

You can opt for triple science since your DD wants to have a review and select a suitable combination later.

          Hi parents

would like to check which is the nearer MRT station to the school - Potong Pasir or Woodleigh? There seems to be some construction ongoing along Upper Serangoon Road so it looks easier to access via PP MRT from the map?

          TIA for advice.

            Hi ImMeeMee,

Woodleigh mrt in my opinion. This is after the completion of walkway shelters linking from the school all the way to upper aljunied road. Rain or shine, it will be mostly sheltered along this path.

My DD just received her PSLE result, She planned to apply for Cedar girl IP & O level track for 2017 intake. Does the school treat both IP & O level track students equally & given equal opportunities for school events/activities?

School bus transport available only to certain parts of Singapore only. Not to all parts of Sg.

You need to contact the school bus operator, inquire if go your area to fetch your daughter to Cedar.

They fetch one way in the morning only, going to school.

As for foreign 3rd language like Japanese, French, German -
your girl have to travel to MOELC (Bishan) branch, to learn. Cedar does not teach foreign languages to students, conducted inside her school premises.
