Psle score is your queue number. So imagine all the post-psle kids in a long queue, starting from highest score to lowest.

When it is your turn, the system will then run through your 6 choices in order of the preference listed. So if Cedar is your first preference, put right on top. If Cedar still has a vacancy, it will be given to you. If it has no more vacancies, the system will move to your second choice and check if there are vacancies. If there is, that will be allotted to you and the system move on to the next student in queue. If there isn't, the system move on to your next choice and does the same again.

Thanks for the insight! I have always wondered how the thing works and now it makes sense.

So if the system starts processing from the student with the top t-score and works down from there, there is no chance that anyone may get unseated from a school that was \"temporarily allocated\" to him as his first choice, by someone with a higher t-score who chose that school as his last choice. That's because the one with the higher t-score would have gotten the place earlier.

Brilliant. The world now makes a little more sense to me

haha...me too. But not the punctuality part, as I needed to change buses! Sometimes overslept and overshot bus stop!

It is done and done. why worry? For every path chosen, there are others being given up. Secondary school is when we meet good friends and have some of the most memorable years of our lives. Make the best 6 choices you can and know that at every one of them, friends are waiting.
And if it doesn't work out, just work hard to transfer.
