Learnt from a friend, Tag1 class (non GEP) students take same exam papers (EL, MA and SC) as mainstream classes except Higher Chinese (they take same paper HCL paper as GEP students). And in many cases, Tag1 students top the co-hort (exclude GEP) in all 3 papers.

It clearly shows these award winners from Tag1 are high ability students who may have just missed being selected for GEP classes. The learning journey is a combination of both part GEP and mainstream, hence, I feel they have best of both worlds. iPad usage if misuse is the responsibility of the child and parents.

Totally agreed with you that misuse of iPad is the responsibilities of the child and parents. Academic results aside, what's more important at the end of the day is character building; leadership, agility, tenacity and confidence. These are abilities that will help children survive in the ever changing world beyond just PSLE, O-levels, A-Levels and so on.

              Hi

Has anyone collated what is the average percentage of scores from tag1 class,
Or percentage of students score above 260 pen 250? Etc

I checked with the teachers and apparently they don’t share these information.

I’m not sure whether knowing the % of students in Tag 1 > 260 will be useful. Most probably, quite a number of these students would have gotten CO via DSA and they only need a min effort to maintain the min cut-off for IP. The information may not be well represented of the class performance.

Happened to see from the school website that there are classes 6AB1, 6AB2 and 6AB3. Just wondering why these classes are special. Anyone knows?

Hi, If you were to refer to 2016's Meet-The-Parent session attachments, these appear to be pullout classes.
