Is there any segregation/split of students for Sec 1 HCL class for a particular reason?

my DD mention that students from different classes were asked to move to another class just for HCL lesson today…so was wondering…

Actually they segregate those which has taken HCL in Primary School from the ones which did not take HCL in Primary School.

Any parent can advise regarding the art club enrollment?

saw the art club notice for urging students to join.

was wondering what is taught in that club and how often do they conduct CCA lessons per week?
don’t want dd to join and then feel overwhelmed as this would be additional 2nd CCA on top of main CCA.

Can parents of senior students advise how the CCA application works.

DD told me they will be advised which CCA they are short listed based on trials.

after that we go online using the CCA link and list down based on priority?
Heard last year few Y1 students did not get CCA allocation for some time, is it quite common??

I recalled for some CCAs, there would be trials to shortlist the students
Yes, I think my dd listed her choices like listing the choices for Sec schs.
My Indo may not be that updated but no worries, your child will have a CCA

Thank you for quick reply. DD still raging on to try different CCA. Haven’t made up her mind yet. Need to have a heart to heart discussion then enlist cca. This Friday the CCA link will open up…

There are 2 CCA days per wk and so the CCA has to be something your child likes or enjoys
