      mum03:

We just came back from a 5days holiday from Krabi, spend christmas over there. Stayed in a lousy hotel :x unable to book good hotels cause of christmas season. Location wise very good. DH & DD did snorkelling and swimming in Hong island. Good Thai massage for me (addicted) Will go again in the near future, but will ensure that we will book the hotels in advance.

Need any adv on this pls ask and it shall be given :callme:

      Hi

Am concerned about food for kids. Mine are 2 and 4 y.o. Anything to eat? I just came back from Phuket and no problem with the food there. Are there also a wide range of dining options, especially Asian food?

      Thanks/

There are plenty of eatery and dining option that includes Macdonald, Starbuck, Haggen Daze. It should not be a problem for you 2 & 4 Y.O.
      Go and have Fun

        KS_me:

Where is Kai Island? Can we do this at Phuket?

The picture you quote is mine. And it is indeed in Khai Island.
There are a few islands with the first name Khai.. Khai Naa...
Khai Nok... *gulp* i think and another one or two surrounding
each other.. It is off Phuket by speedboat like 30mins if normal
waters but mebbe 45mins for choppy seas..

This picture was taken when DD2 was so scared of the fishies
all coming to her that she just grabbed what she could reach!

        :rotflmao:

Ohhhh... speedboat off Phuket!! Kewl!! Planning to go during March holiday, any recommendation?

          Hi all,

I have 2 boys, 2 and 5, am planning to have a short trip with them to nearby country, any suggestion?

I had been Hong Kong last year, and think it is too commercial for kids, would like to see if there are economic and relax beach holiday for young kids…

          Thanks

Hii all :? as usuali I am confused.lol.. 😄 ok here's the problem.

The kids and I have only gone to KL and Bintan so far. Now I am planning to go for a very good holiday with them. My dream will be to see Christmas and snow somewhere. However, in order not to waste too much money ,I think for the June holidays will just go somewhere which will not be too tough on the pockets.

Another problem is as my hubby has got many business calls to attend to ,I cant go to a place where I have to be in a plane for more than 5 hours and he cant keep away for more than 4 days from Singapore.

I am thinking of a holiday where the kids can enjoy and at the same time, we can relax somewhere. A place where there are nice beaches as well.

              Can anyone suggest something ?

Good places with beaches would be the usual places in Thailand, eg Phuket, Phi Phi, Ko Samui etc, but only worry is the current unrest in Thailand though these places are not affected. Penang and Langkawi have nice beaches too.

We flew by Budget Airline, Firefly, to Kuantan last year. Stayed at Swiss Garden by the beach. Short but relaxing trip.

I also read somewhere that SilkAir is having some joint promotion with MasterCard.

                  Seoul in Dec?

probably the cheapest place to enjoy snow, good food & shopping and theme park for the kids.

                    My own opinion -->
For families with kids, Krabi is more suitable than Redang.
