For ACS, you have to either be a Methodist church member or a grass root leader in order for you to go for Phase 2B.daze12:
Does anyone know if ACS accept parent volunteer? I heard some schools doesn't accept PV anymore.
ACS doesn't have PV scheme for phase 2B purposes. And you're right, many schools either don't have PV scheme, or have shut it down in recent years. Too much competition. -
Hi parents,
I got the chance to do PV for my YR2012 child at radin mas and wondering if other parents here would be joining me as well? And have you gotten notification on when to start? -

I was also given the opportunity to pv at rmps. Was informed the pv will usually start in july onwards. There will be emails and deadlines will be given to reply. Not on a first come first serve as i was told. -
Hi Superhoops, thanks for the reply.
I was worried cos there had been no calls yet. Now im assured that they will send emails too in case i miss the calls -
Hello. Anyone here has applied or done PV at CHIJ Lady Queen of Peace? Appreciate if you can share what are the odds or being selected as PV and if it is challenging to clock the 40hrs. Thanks!!!

Hello everyone,
I’m new here. I’m thinking of sending my first daughter to SCGS in a few years’ time. I would appreciate if anyone could help me with the following enquiries:
1) Does SCGS still have a parent volunteer scheme?
2) If my daughter is born in 2014, is there a specific year for application for the PVS?
3) If I’m in the PVS, and also stay within 1km, what are the general chances I’ll get in? Have they historically had ballots for 2B applicants within 1km?
4) Any feedback from parents of kids in the school? How is the learning environment?
Thanks in advance for your replies, appreciate them. -
Question on whether a school has a PV scheme is best to be addressed to the school directly. You should be able to get the school’s contact information from its website.

2) Typically PV should end before the P-1 registration so for 2014 babies, you should look to apply sometime next year or early 2019 depending on the school's system.
3) Having done PV and if you stay in 1km, historically the chances are 100%
