Congrats! What a relief to those who got in.
There are vacancies for those staying 1-2 km this year? There will be 22 lucky kids who will get in. All the best.

if they told you 50 that means the 57 in the MOE web is combined with the 1-2km? That means the ballot will be 57 for 48 seats?

There are many people who, despite the amount of info and resources available, still do not understand the process and procedures.

Those more than 2km never appear to withdraw, it's like looking at the total vacancy, then applying without knowing how far and no more monitoring.

Those who are savvy will come to KSP to check balloting history and research more about each school on all the various threads. And when they can’t find answers forthcoming on the public threads, will know exactly who to PM to get answers and insider tips. I have tried my best to help those who asked me. And the diligent conscientious ones have gotten their coveted seat.

And then there is the other group who use only MOE’s official website. Expecting to be spoonfed about the breakdown and which group needs to ballot and when is the balloting time. They don’t know that they need to be proactive as the staff will not treat u like VIP and hold your hand thru the whole process and guide u thru your options.

How I wish I can (like a primary school teacher) force the parents to sit down in 3 rows according to their distance. When more and more enter into <1km then I will tell the >2km group kindly withdraw & exit the room. There is only Xx spaces here. Do u see picture, kids?

But alas, they are not my kids, they are free to walk away before 4.30pm and go home & then shoot empty qns after the action is over and they have lost their seat.
