Haha i tried to call also around 4:30-4:45 but line super busy.. i think lots of parents calling..

if they told you 50 that means the 57 in the MOE web is combined with the 1-2km? That means the ballot will be 57 for 48 seats?
Sorry first timer so abit blurr.. πŸ˜“

There are many people who, despite the amount of info and resources available, still do not understand the process and procedures.

Those more than 2km never appear to withdraw, it's like looking at the total vacancy, then applying without knowing how far and no more monitoring.

Those who are savvy will come to KSP to check balloting history and research more about each school on all the various threads. And when they can’t find answers forthcoming on the public threads, will know exactly who to PM to get answers and insider tips. I have tried my best to help those who asked me. And the diligent conscientious ones have gotten their coveted seat.

And then there is the other group who use only MOE’s official website. Expecting to be spoonfed about the breakdown and which group needs to ballot and when is the balloting time. They don’t know that they need to be proactive as the staff will not treat u like VIP and hold your hand thru the whole process and guide u thru your options.

How I wish I can (like a primary school teacher) force the parents to sit down in 3 rows according to their distance. When more and more enter into <1km then I will tell the >2km group kindly withdraw & exit the room. There is only Xx spaces here. Do u see picture, kids?

But alas, they are not my kids, they are free to walk away before 4.30pm and go home & then shoot empty qns after the action is over and they have lost their seat.

                    Hi Zac's mum,

yes thanks to KSP forum i can decide on which chances to take, and with the advise of some members we can consider if the choice we are taking is very risky or not.

Before P2C starts I did have a thought of putting my kid to APS which is fall within 1-2km distance from my house, but looking at the statistic and what others posted before, i cancel and put my chances in RMPS which is within 1km so my chance is higher even though this year the balance seat for P2C is not much.

now just need to cross finger and pray πŸ™
and also prepare incase need to go for P2CS..
                    Thank you all πŸ™‚
all the best to all that going for balloting..

P.S now i'm encouraging my sis to join KSP forum to read all statistics and plan for her boy in 2020 enrollment πŸ™‚ and asked her to check the PV also (she has not started her homework yet πŸ˜“ )
