Anyone put their kid in Bishan Berries? any comments to share?

I’m going for a trial this weekend for my dd. What should i look out for?

For me it would be at the other kids in the centre.. ..

Go a little earlier and observe the kiddos and the way they speak

I have placed my girl in Berries when she was younger. In my case, i used to look out for how conducive the overall environment, is the standard of teaching equivalent to wat u are asking for, and of course, ur child's attitude towards coming there weekly.

after the trial lesson today, I asked my girl if she’s keen in the new class and her reply was she liked her kindy more. I guess its the new environment that she’s just gotten in.


The teacher seems fine and the kids generally paid attention. My girl was able to follow the class but she doesn’t sound keen. I don’t know what to do next, whether to continue or not.

Are there any speech and drama class for chinese language? I’ve only come across english ones. I have a feeling she’s more keen on lessons with more movements.

You may want to check it out at thier website for more information. The reason is that they do not give you any trial class & every term you need to pay for material fees.

Usually the trial would give you very little evaluation. Perhaps you can continue to have 1 more trial again before signing up the entire package.

Yup, try one more lesson? Sometimes, girls of older age e.g. K1/K2 has more opinions abt wat and where they are learning. Keep observing her to see whether she likes the class.

Or is there a gd chinese enrichment class in your gal's kindy since she likes her kindy more. As the environment is similar to where she has her regular lessons, she might have less resistance?

Thanks again for the suggestion. Din know can ask for another trial. I’ve just signed up for another trial. Hope I can get a better feel this time.

Can I ask I read some parents talking about a small book for berries class? What’s that? I only saw the big exercise/activity book used during the trial class.

There's one at her kindy, but the hours are not good for her and I have no transport to send and pick her. So I can't consider that. Sigh. I'm not sure about the quality though.
