Coming Jun 19 (Sat) Electone Festival - any idea length of performance?
Interestingly, just found out that different branches have different row/seating allocation.
JSAC 1 parents were advised to bring their kids to watch as they will be participating in the next year’s. -

Yap, group class has to be in Plaza Sgp. Not that bad in the weekend 'cos I get to shop and even sign up pedicure package
My DS is polishing his music skills & I, polishing my toes ! Cool, right?
Weekend arrangement should be of no problem. But classes on weekdays are totally beyond our reach at Plaza Sg.
Question is, can 2 lessons for every week all fall on weekends? one on Sat and one on Sun?? Isn't that too close? -

The practices/homeworks are different for both group and individual lessons. As long as your kid is not the type that does last minute work before lessons, guess that should be fine. Issue is whether you can get both individual and group classes during weekends. Weekends I noticed are typically reserved for group classes by the teachers and I think it'll be unlikely you will be able to get any weekend slot for individual class. Even for my kid's individual class, it's on a weekday but at least at an evening timing that I can make it & without having to travel to Singapura Plaza.Weekend arrangement should be of no problem. But classes on weekdays are totally beyond our reach at Plaza Sg.

Hi radiantmum,
How's your son doing so far. It has been quite a few months since he started right?
Hope he is enjoying it.

Hey, great to "see"you here

Mine continues to look forward to his lessons very much. He was telling me excitedly after his recent 1-1 class that he had started to learn music arrangement. Noticed that he’s able to progress faster on new pieces now though his teacher still need to bug him to check his counts before start of each new piece
He’s struggling a little in completing his composition and we had to cajole him with incentives to get him to expand his song and to pen down his notes/thoughts ;-< Apparently they need to submit 1 own composition for recording by end of this year. I didnt even dare to ask the teacher if completing one piece by then is acceptable or they are expected to finish several pieces in order to be able to select their best work ;-<
He’ll be taking his first practical and theory coming Sept/Oct timeframe. Yours just had his in Mar right? How did he and his class do? Must be more stressful as one gets into upper primary. Furthermore yours is managing both electone and piano as well eh? Would love to hear you/your kid’s experiences.
