With yesterday’s graduation ceremony, my DS has finally completed his 6 years of IP journey and now left with the last hurdle of A level.
How time flies, I still can visualize his Yr 1 first day wearing HCI uniform, waking up at 5+am taking the school bus…and now he is finishing one chapter of his study journey and going NS next year Jan…there were ups and downs through the 6 years but I am glad he made it through…its a tough but fulfilling learning experience…and I must say HCI is an excellent school with good teachers and nurturing environment (thinking back, initially what attracted us to HCI is the big beautiful compound)…lastly I wish all 2016 classes the best in their coming A level and pass with flying colours!! -

I agree - HCI is an excellent School and I am very glad that DS made the right choice to come here. Although he spent only 2 short years here, he has learnt a lot and made many friends. The teachers are dedicated, caring and passionate.
I felt very emo and proud witnessing the graduation ceremony and DS proudly tells me he is now part of the Alumni.
To All J2 students, you have worked so hard for the past 2 years, give your best shot for the A levels. All your efforts will be rewarded.
GOOD LUCK and ALL THE BEST for the upcoming exams.

joe0599 and zbear, thanks for sharing that both your boys are enjoying the journey with HCI. My son will be graduating from high school this year and indeed, it has been a very fulfilling journey for him. Besides excellent academic curriculum and supports that school provides, he has also made great friendship along the way. He told me that he goes to school very happy every morning, what more can parents ask forjoe0599:

@ zbear.. All The Best to your DS for the upcoming A Level exam. I'm very sure he will do well. 加油 !! :rahrah: -
Yes, FF, there will be a graduation dinner at Orchard hotel, the boys are so looking forward to it!! Ds said they prefer not to have it together with NYGH (as if they have a choice
) so that they won't feel awkward

Oh btw, I tot zbear ds is in J1, I didn't realise he is taking A level this year

-
hi, may I know whether the students can wear sports shoes to HCJC? or must be white shoes? If sports shoes are allowed, then is there any colour restriction?
:thankyou: -
Black sports shoe is allowed.
-
For the high school section, shoe must be mostly (70%) black, blue, or white. no visible luminous markings. Should be the same for JC.
