      Careermum:
To put it fairly, besides quality teachers & a good sounding name, JC students also based their choices on the following:

      1) Convenience (preferably near mrt station)
      2) Age of the campus building
      3) Morning starting time

I am sure we can’t deny the fact that the above 3 factors have contributed to nyjc’s increased popularity.

Likewise, ejc’s new campus will fulfil the 1st 2 factors that I listed.
Agreed that all these factors are important too. But in terms of priority, when I applied for RJC, the quality of teachers and \"branding\" was top of the list in my consideration.

EJC starts school at 8am, which is later then most of the other JCs. I think this is the optimum time. If a JC starts later than 8am, then it would probably have to end school later.

Fully agree with Grandypa. Dats also one of der reasons I hated NYJC for  (starting lessons at 9am :siao: and end lessons at dunno wat time, sometimes even at 7.30pm for extra lessons coz cannot finish) .

FYI Hwa Chong also start at 8am and they have dedicated CT benches for self-study.

And 1 thing, look at the study areas and classrooms (dont apply into a gigantic oven and suffer every single day :rotflmao: , dats NYJC btw)

@Eddisema no body ask u to sit in the sun mah... sitting at the SSW in a hot aftnoon cfm like oven wat :rotflmao: :rotflmao:

The concourse and LT area quite okay tho, always studied there fm aftnoon till nite and is usually breezy without the fan. Quite sure u nvr tried those areas.

Actually building age not dat significant for top tier JCs, as long as environment and facilities are okay. (HCI, VJ, NJ. NY, RI are all okay for me actually in terms of environment. Im sure EJ will be similar also judging fm the design plan)

I mean yes, we can only speculate about it. I am curious how the usual bunch of people will react to this post :lightrod: and demand for evidence and facts to back up a said and admitted opinion 😂

You are still harping on this ? Gosh.

To answer you. There is a difference. Careermum was of the opinion that the transistion period may affect the COP, You are of the opinion that the COP of EJC ( and all lower tier IP JC ) will fall to double digits regardless what happen, whether the school will have stellar A level results or have moved to a brand new campus

I don't get what you are driving at? I am not asking for any difference but you seem to sound like GrandyPa, posting weirdly the same things :stupid: . What do you mean by regardless what happens? I am literally confused.

Not too sure if you are acting blur or really blur. Please read my original post after \"regardless what happens\". I have marked it out it red specifically for you since it is holiday season

FYI, EJC's 2018 COP is not yet out, are you saying that EJC will get double digits now?

Did you not unreservedly say that all the \"lower tier\" IP JCS will have double digits ? You are really good t acting blur. Kudos 😂

Kudos to your interpretation as well as your hallucination :stupid: And please don't try to stir up trouble in this thread, I believe the other prospective parents like me will appreciate it.

Despite EJC present temp site, it is a new JC.

Compare to other established IP-JCs, Principal and teachers will put extra effort to build the sch reputation, by producing great A level result & any competition involved.

The students will benefit fr it.
