Hi, I like to apologise first for being off track.

Can I check with gentlemen graduated from Catholic High interested to provide tuition for Chemistry, Geography or Math for Sec 1? Or anyone knows where to get school past year papers, please pm me. Thanks.

Pros and Cons of EJC (by a student from EJC):
I think the biggest thing was that because the school was just starting out, there was a lot of trial and error in everything from the programmes to classes to even the uniforms.
Also, not having seniors. It was pretty weird when my friends from other JCs talked to their seniors for advice, we just didn’t have that. We also went to A divs last year with only J1s, with a large portion of students only having done their sport for a couple of months and honestly didn’t do as bad as I thought we would. Our cohort is also pretty small (600~ compared to the 1k plus of other schools) so you get to know everyone quicker.
The biggest hurdle was I faced was the feeling the everyone already knew each other, and they kinda did. During orientation all the IP kids would run off to go find the friends they’ve known for 4 years, or friends they made from other schools during their IP orientation. There’s definitely a bit of segregation at times, but it gets better as both groups interact more. The leadership positions are definitely filled by more IP students but it’s still possible if you’re JAE. (One of of student council Vice Presidents is from CWSS I think)

there are some students having nett 6 putting ejc as 1st choice as well, so theres much to expect when the posting results are out

Why need tuition at sec 1? Think too early.. they have 8 new subjects plus cca... be careful not to overload....

Hi, My DS is in EJC from CHS IP… i think it is natural is the JAE students take a while to mix in considering the 3 IP schools have joint activities since Sec 1, as well as the 1 month long “orientation”, but i think the JC mix the IP and JAE intake very well.

My niece was in the JAE intake of a top JC nearby and basically they divided the IP from the JAE intake…

If you look at the 3 IP schools, basically all 3 schools treated both ip and o level tracks pretty equally and fairly… this trait is bought over to EJC…

Yes. Many of the top students from CWSS applied to EJC . My DD knows of a student from CWSS that had 4 points.
The fact is that EJC provides equal treatment to all , IP or JAE and that a student from CWSS can be a Vice-President of student council is a good testimony to that.

CWSS is one of the good schools in the Holland area. My friend’’s child was from this school. She did very well to qualify for the Humanities Scholarship program in EJC

                        This is to be predicted.
Due to merged JCs & all other JCs increased intakes.

RI & HCI dropped to 5.
