My maid always forgot to wash the baby bottle either, maybe the baby bottle is not easy to clean cause which relates to the health of baby. Since I have got the baby bottle brush and told her the way to use, she won`t forget again, I think the set of https://www.cfone.net/how-to-make-baby-bottle-sparkling-clean.html helps me a lot, cause my maid told me she can wash the baby bottles easily with the different sizes of sponges and strew brushes, she advised me that also can be used to clean many kinds of daily bottles, I think she`s right.

This is a warning to All employers who are unkind & mean :

hired maids or workers, yet withhold their salary for prolonged period of time, causing them to suffer without income, or ill-treat their maids / workers :-

I find generally Mynmar girls are easier, tho my first was sent home on 4th day coz she didn’t seem to be right frame of mind. Had used other nationalities to my frustration tho my 1st Indo helper was with us for more than 6 years. Bonded well with my kids.

My last Mynmar helper did reasonably well except she lost her b’frd & cldnt focus so let her go back after her contract. Current Mynmar helper works out very well - cooks well, clean, wash & iron well. She’ll be studying for her Year 10 exams and she’s hoping to enter uni one day.

The issue of whether trainable is dependent on individual candidates & attitudes. If they want the job enuf, if they are positive to learn & contribute rather than asking first what u can provide as eyers.

Communication can be an issue as u need loads of patience with new ones. Those experienced Mynmar girls are ideal IMHO. I find it difficult to trust Pino girls, except for the older generation. I’ve interviewed so many pinos & they’re asking sky high fr >$700 to $900 for barely 4-5 years experience ones. These are probably spoilt by the likes of my ‘rich’ gfrds who just want the most experienced maid & willing to pay high to grab them. Nowadays, they even scrutinize if u can afford/provide wifi, personal room, etc. I worry abt taking them in & hv a diff set of social problems.

                Alamak!

I've always ensure my helpers agree to starting a bank account of her choice (usu POSB without min sum in bank account type). I always explain that she'll be assured of prompt pymt and there's no delays. For us eyers, that's the way I manage and leave clear trail / evidence of my dutiful & prompt pymts. Any withdrawals, she has to manage it on her own.

I've encountered an eyer who lost their jobs & want to let their helper transfer to ano family or send home if she prefers. After I interviewed & wants to take her, the eyer called to say his helper do not mind no-pay (otang) till he gets a job. Treat a helper with respect & consideration, irrespective whether the helper returns in kind. I called the helper some months later to see if she's indeed OK & she was so happy to announce her eyer started work again.

I changed a couple of maids, both filipino n indo before finally finding a good n reliable indo maid who stayed with me for 6 years. As my kids have grown older, and she requested to return home to settle family matters, i made a difficult decision to let her go 2 years ago. She has contacted me recently to say that she is looking for employer in SG. She is responsible and has good attitude, n gives me peace of mind when I’m out at work. She learnt to cook Chinese food to suit my family’s preferences including handling pork. Anyone who is interested to contact her can PM me. She is available to start work asap.
