My first helper had not disclosed her thyroid problem. The agency claimed they did not know she needed 3-month blood tests & medication. But they still insisted on transferring her to another employer after I informed them.
I was told the replacement helper was 51 or 52 or 53, depending who I spoke to. the bio-data states that year of birth was 1965. I was given a smudgy copy of work permit, did not see passport as it was being \"renewed\" in Feb although it expires in May 2018.
One day I relooked the work permit scan as my iPhone died. I realised the last digit did not look like a 5. I had no records of her age in the contract. I checked MOM email & found out she was born in 1959. That means she will turn 59 this year. She can't work beyond Oct 2019.
I do not know how MOM processed the work permit without asking any questions. The I/O said the agency will be \"penalised\". How I do not know.
Apparently it seems that certain agencies will forge their FDW bio-data. So perhaps u have to check your helper's work permit & passport to verify their age. Employers will pay a reasonable rate for ability. My elderly helper lost her balance on the escalator & fell on my daughter. Fortunately my girl held on tight to the handrail; otherwise both of them will tumble down together.
This particular agency also misrepresented & hid the FDW's employment history. I was shown a printout but signed a different copy on a different day. The agency kept it but did not give me a copy. The I/O officer's English is not very good & she can't recall the convulated story in detail.

It is an offence to solicit sex in Spore
It is against MOM FDW work permit regulations to work part-time. For this reason, she is in breach of agency contract & doesn't have the right to be transferred as she has broke a law in Spore. Just show them the police report.
Depending on contract terms, the agency or u have to repatriate her. If the agency insists on transferring her, let them do so.

In theory, MOM is supposed to take action against the agency. It depends on the officer. The I/O that I spoke to can't remember details, so I started copying our emails to main email for employment agency, [email protected] ) -
It is better to make a police report immediately before she tries to do sth else & also for MOM to blacklist her to prevent her fr going to ano family if u release her w/o reporting MOM. I can imagine if she has to care for esp the very young & feeding coz s'times working eyers do not see if they test food (blowing to cool porridge, etc) & transmit diseases. Was advised by frd whose helper found to hv gonorrhea when they suspect why the new helper always on long sleeve in spite of hot weather. Th agent denied knowledge & normal medical did not surface when WP was approved. Headache! :slapshead:

Pls file the police report & refer to MOM if the agency tries to hold you to the contract. After threatening to file police report for both agency & FDW, the agency refunded admin fees & insurance in full. I also made them pay for her air ticket
The I/O only agreed to help me claim back admin fees. So I filed a complaint abt this I/O.
the agency informed my elderly helper that I found out abt them forging bio-data. The helper then took a loan from a "licensed moneylender" before she was repatriated. Thk God, I found out when I packed her luggage. I sent the loanshark to collect his debt at agency. I informed MOM too but no response. I saw that the referral person was another FDW whom I had interviewed at the same agency. -
