There will also be withdrawals in 2C and the place is given back in 2C. So no disadvantaged to anyone.

[/quote]Likely that the withdrawal was done at the end of 2A but before 2B started.
If it's an odd number of slots that becomes available, the extra slot will go into 2B after being split evenly in 2B and 2C.
For this case, 1, so it goes into....2B

volunteer = freely offer to do something. not for the sake of registration.

I’m sure if many had a choice for an earlier priority phase, no one would want to go through the stress and agony Phase 2C brings!

Yup... My friend who registered for phase 2B told me that even <1km need to ballot... So those 1-2km & >2km will be upfront rejected...

Ya... For phase 2C, either go for the safer choice or take a gamble for the high risk... Those who still want to gamble for the medium to high risk, really should have a safe choice which they can more or less confirm success enrol for phase 2CS...

Don’t forget… There are still parents who have already enrolled their child(ren) in the earlier phase (2A1, 2A2 & 2B) who are still monitoring the status of their another preferred sch for phase 2C… Once they see that they have good chance in that phase 2C school, they will withdraw from their earlier enrolled school and re-joined the 2C crowd wor…
