HHMummy:
Yes you can try waitlist now.HHMummy:
We just received...we are unsuccessful. :gloomy:
Can we be asked to put on waitlist or have to wait till the whole registration phase is over? -
floppy:
I think it’s bad luck (or maybe the authorities poor planning).
Need some advice from fellow gurus on which school to reg for 2C for my son:
Within 1km
- Punggol Green (76 slots left)
- Punggol View (96 slots left)
Within 2km
- Mee Toh (37 slots left)
- Horizon (99 slots left)
We are SC. We like Mee Toh but with only 37 slots, it seems very low chance for us to get in so left with Horizon, Punggol Green and Punggol View. How will fellow gurus choose?
Risk level from high to low monitor from 2016 for phase 2C : Punggol Green -> Mee Toh -> Horizon -> Punggol View ...
I monitor from 2016 batch cos that's when I registered my #1... I registered her for Punggol Green... 200+ registered with 100+ vacancies and all 200+ who registered are SC <1km wor.... yes... I failed the ballot... don't underestimate Punggol Green popularity...
Prior to 2015, Punggol Green wasn’t a popular option. Unfortunately, I’m 2015 / 2016, projects like Twin Waterfalls / Ecopolitan and the first phase of development at Matilda TOP. For some of the projects in Matilda, Punggol Green is the only school within 1km (Springdale is also within 1km but you will have to cross the expressway to Sengkang). Given that Matilda is close to fully developed, I believe it is possible that demand for Punggol Green will spike further.
Ya lo... This side of Punggol, Punggol Green is the oldest sch liao... Typically we, those staying in the area, will target Punggol Green than other school like Punggol Cove or Punggol View. -
HHMummy:
If wanna avoid balloting, avoid Punggol Green too... Confirm ballot for even SC within 1KM.
Depends on whether you mind balloting or not. Nan Chiau is very popular, in turn sure need to ballot for SCs within 1km.Kevin68:
Dear Parents, I need advice on phase 2C choice
1) Nan chiau
2) compassvale
3) Springdale
4) punggol green
We are in the 1km zone for all.
If wanna avoid balloting, springdale/punggol green seems least risky. -

May not even get a chance to ballot.

Punggol Cove is also 1-2km away but at least demand for the school is not high for now (once Northshore project complete, this school will definitely be hot). Should be a good option for those who is worried about balloting. -
received the confirmation sms at 8.06am..

No MPs would dare to \"challenge\" their authories/bosses. I guess there is no answer but to just base on trust. Sigh..............Katnisslee:
Since the ballot is not public, what assurance do we have that MOE plays by the rules and there is no foul play?
None. Time to get your MP to ask this question in Parliament? -
