            T score?

            1) When is T score's last year used in PSLE?
Its 2020, from 2021, T score will be replaced by the PSLE Score, which is the sum of the AL for each subject. PSLE Scores will range from 4 to 32 - reducing the number of possible PSLE Scores to 29, from more than 200 T-score Aggregates currently.

            2) What is PSLE Aggregate T score?
The Aggregate T-Score is calculated by adding all the T-Scores for the examinable subjects, such as English, Mother Tongue, Mathematics and Science, taken by the candidates.
Which means you take the subject T-score and add them together.
            for example PSLE Aggregate T-score= English T score+ MT T-score+Science T-score+Maths T-score.

            3) What is subject T-score?
            \t
For standard subjects, SEAB apply the following formula:
            T(T-score) = 50+ 10((x-m)/s)
where x is the candidate’s mark for the subject,
m is the average mark (mean) scored by all the candidates, while
s is the spread of the marks around the average mark (standard deviation).

            for more understanding refer to

About 40% students in the cohort will get A or Astar for PSLE Maths / Science. The number of A* for the subject can be about 30 to 40 pupils in a top class in each primary school on average. Starting from this year, the number of pupils who scored A or A* will not be revealed !!!

                        For CL:
Use old format's (2016 and earlier) Pri 5 & 6 past yr school paper's MCQ compre to practice for LC's news report/article related questions (听力理解篇章四、五,questions 4 to 6). The kids may not be familiar with phrases like 数据显示, 根据最新的调查结果 etc. if they seldom watch/listen to/read news.

Pri 5 & 6 past yr school paper's MCQ compre can also help to prepare for LC's narrative passage related questions (听力理解篇章七,questions 8 to 10).
