About 40% students in the cohort will get A or Astar for PSLE Maths / Science. The number of A* for the subject can be about 30 to 40 pupils in a top class in each primary school on average. Starting from this year, the number of pupils who scored A or A* will not be revealed !!!

a) How to prepare for Listening Comprehension (both Chinese & English)?
For CL:
Use old format's (2016 and earlier) Pri 5 & 6 past yr school paper's MCQ compre to practice for LC's news report/article related questions (听力理解篇章四、五,questions 4 to 6). The kids may not be familiar with phrases like 数据显示, 根据最新的调查结果 etc. if they seldom watch/listen to/read news.
Pri 5 & 6 past yr school paper's MCQ compre can also help to prepare for LC's narrative passage related questions (听力理解篇章七,questions 8 to 10). -
Anyone has info on MGS DSA 2020 for the psle takers in 2019

If taking PSLE in 2019, it would be DSA application in May 2019. You can follow the DSA 2019 thread here: https://www.kiasuparents.com/kiasu/forum/viewtopic.php?f=48&t=91518&start=360

Thank you, for above guidance.
For Normal Chinese Paper 2 : is it enough (suffucient) if we practise actual PSLE past year papers, from 2018 all the way backward, until 2011 ? -

For Normal Chinese Paper 2 : is it enough (sufficient) if we practise actual PSLE past year papers, from 2018 all the way backward, until 2011 ?[/quote]Hi phtthp,
The new format came into place in 2017 so earlier year's papers will be different - there are new question types in 1st 15 MCQ's, won't be able to practice on note writing section that is tested in current format's 阅读理解二, while open ended Compre question types slightly differ too.
Would be advisable to practice using 2018 and 2017 Pri 6 (followed by 2018 Pri 5 - if time permits) past year school papers on top of 2017 and 2018 PSLE paper. -
