Grandyma:
NYJC majority students taking 3H2 compared to some IP JCs like NJC, EJC, DHS, RVHS students with 4H2?
Good results but using actual calculation to tabulate 3H2 Distinctions:phtthp:
Warmest, heartiest Congratulations to All Dunmanians, on your excellent, fantastic 2018 A-level batch results. Bravo ! Keep it up !

Why DHS say almost 50% got 3 H2 Dist?
44.7% is not almost 50%
Know the Average Rank University Point is a better gauge to tell JC performance.
So far:
NYJC: 85
NJC: 84.4 -

NYJC mean UAS is 85? Higher than RI? -
lee_yl:
NYJC mean UAS 85 highly unlikely. Median is possible. Have also heard from a few sources that their results have been 'tweaked' the last few years. Significant number of weaker JC 2 were 'counselled' after the prelims not to take the A Levels and repeat JC 2 the following year. Of course the college results will shoot up. Also wonder why NYJC have not been sharing much on their 'excellent' results on their website as other colleges have done every year.

1 is close to 100, if my sample size is 1 million, and 40% is closer to 50% than 20% is.
This is not a math exam, people.
Also, based on the https://www.kiasuparents.com/kiasu/forum/viewtopic.php?f=40&t=68179&start=850#p1899230, it seems quite unlikely for the mean UAS to be 85 (which would be quite a remarkable result). -

Anyone has kid or students study in DHS Jc section ? Want to know more abt the culture , support n environment.
My dd is in Y6. They mix well with JAE students. She prefers JH classroom teaching to SH lectures. Most of the time, she prob sleeps through lectures as she is so sleep deprived. She prefers to self study n refused tuition. Most of the JAE students study harder than her peers. -
Hi this is a secondary 4 students deciding if should go to DHS senior high via jae next year. Can anyone kindly tell me about the senior high culture? Can the school uniform be bought in school? I heard that there are 4 houses Drakon Kirin Homa Bennu, so can the students choose their houses?
How about the canteen food? Any special highlights?
