anyone who knows of any good chinese physician in amk (near amk) that treats asthma (kids) please do let me know.
It feels terrible to see my gal always coughing, wheezing, and on nebuiliser, hvg to abstain from fried/heaty/cold food and always hvg cold limbs and sweaty palms.

Hi, Ehouse. Does ur gal has this voice after recovering from a serious flu or nasal sickness? I am not sure if it can be related to the weaker lung function. If your gal also has cold and flu often, you can try my and my DD TCM - Xiao Dao Lie yi shi, EYS. We visit her in EYS clementi every Sun since last year Nov. She is most in Bukit Batok and Jurong Medical Hall branch during weekdays. So far, I am happy with our progress on sinusitis. For me, I fall sick almost every month and GP doc always prescribed me antibiotic due to nose and throat inflammation. My DD also every 3-4 weeks similar sickness then flu, coughing and phlegm a lot during recovery.

Before we visit EYS clinic, we went to another 2 TCM doc too - mine is my old tcm before I pregnant and another one specialist in Children Sinusitis by nose spa and tuina. The progress was unsatisfied and not improved much after we stop any treatment or medicine a while. Still we had to visit western doctor or PD to cure our sickness.

Now, we just visit Xiao yi shi once weekly. We take 2 packs of TCM powder medicines still but at least my daughter doesn't fall sick for 2 months now. Occasionally, she sneezes, very light flu symptoms and has some heaty somestimes. In fact, her centre just informed me that one of her classmates has hfmd last Sat this morning. We didn't know at all during the weekend. Our DD seems ok and only has some sore throat on the left side of her throat due to heaty caused by the weather and her frequent screaming while playing. She is gaining weight and grow much taller than before. What Xiao yi shi does for us is to make sure our sickness clears up and cure if we are sick during the visit. Otherwise, she let us decide to not to take any medicine or we want tonic medicine to boost up our immune system and lung function. My mum said that I am too crazy with this TCM but I am happy with our health condition now. My hubby and I don't need to take childcare leaves or unpaid leaves to look after our DD every 3-4 weeks. We even have leaves to rest the recent 2 long weekends.

I agree with Xiao yi shi's practice - for our sinusitis, there is no cure at all but only boost up the immune system and lung function. We can do it either by regular exercising (particularly swimming she mentioned) and healthy diet or TCM medicine and healthy diet. It takes times to see the improvement so I can only say be patient if you feel you find a good doc or TCM to treat your illness.

I've brought a family member to this clinic before ( for back & not eye issues). Find that the Dr we consult is v.knowledgeable & professional. Understand they do have Dr(s) specialising in 中医眼科. Their charges, I feel, are also reasonable.

My son is 3.5 year old and went to her since he was 1 year old. Used to cough v v often. However, after 2.5 year of Chinese medication prescribed by her, he doesn’t cough so often nowadays. She is also very patient and gentle to kids. My son’s fave doctor indeed.

Do note that she will be on leave and back next Saturday. However, avoid her first day back or last day before leave. If not you will have to wait v long.
