Hi all, I took the SST written test today. I became very nervous at first, this caused me to do some of the questions anyhow. The first question was about the estimated area of Russia. I think I got it wrong, Russia’s area is 17.1 million km2 but I put 600+ million km2. There was also a percentage increase question. I think I got that wrong as well. On top of that, I skipped 3 parts of the paper(1E, 2B 5B). I am really nervous, hopefully I get selected for the camp. I also applied nus high DSA. I know it’s gonna be a lot harder. Can someone tell me how they found today’s 1h 15min paper.

Hi Nethan,
Can you please delete your above sharing of actual test question content, because tomorrow Thursday still got two more batches (morning and afternoon) of around 300+ attendees, per batch, yet to take the same test. Thanks -
No worries - it’ll be a different set of questions.

Only 200 students offered SST Dsa, out of approximately 1200 applicants -
After the written test, it will down select to about 500++ students for selection camp, where students are group into groups of 5 to 6 students to perform a task with available material. The end result of the task is not important, the main objective is for the teachers, 2 or 3 per group to observe and assess the students interaction.
SST focus a lot on critical thinking, creativity, confidence, teamwork and communications as there are many projects from Sec 1 to 3.
Once you have passed the written test and get call up for selection camp the chances is high from the 500++ students, 200 will be offered a CO.
means around Top 16 percent, who have sat (taken) for the 2 Round of Tests, will get it
